our mission
everything begins with worship
Threshold Church is a living, breathing body of people that exists first and foremost to worship God. He is the reason we exist. Everything we do flows from this place.
We believe worship is not limited to music on a Sunday morning. It is a life surrendered to God, a life marked by obedience to His Word, dependence on His Spirit, and love
expressed through action.
When worship is rightly ordered, Jesus at the center, everything else finds its place.
Our mission flows out of that foundation.

A Simple Picture, A Strong Foundation
Sometimes uncomplicated is the best way to go.
We often describe our mission like a three-legged stool. It’s a simple design: one seat, supported by three legs. Each leg is necessary. Each must be strong. If one leg is missing or weak, the stool cannot stand. The seat represents a life of worship, everything rightly ordered under God. The three legs are how that worship takes visible shape.
This is how we understand the life of the Church. God has given us a clear calling, held together by three inseparable movements.
Loving God Through Worship
He is the reason we exist. Our first and highest calling is to love God. We do this through worship — by honoring Him with our hearts, our obedience, and our lives.
Jesus said the greatest commandment is to love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength. Worship is the seat of everything we do. Without it, our faith becomes activity without devotion.
“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your
soul and with all your mind.” — Matthew 22:36–40

Loving one another Through community
Unconditional love is not optional. Jesus made it clear that love for one another is the defining mark of His followers. At Threshold, we believe faith was never meant to be lived alone. We are called to care for one another, walk together through life, and bear one another’s burdens.
Community is not just something we attend. It’s something we practice. We grow together, serve together, worship together, and walk with one another through both celebration and sorrow.
“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have
loved you, so you must love one another.” — John 13:34–35
Loving Our World by Reaching Out
We are sent people. God’s purpose in coming to the world was to seek and save the lost, and He has entrusted that mission to His Church. Loving our world means stepping beyond ourselves to share God’s love and the gospel of Jesus with those around us.
We believe the Church does not exist for itself alone. We are called to go...to serve, to speak hope, and to live out the good news wherever God places us.
“GO and make disciples of all nations…”
— Matthew 28:18–20

Held Together in Balance
These three movements—worship, community, and outreach—are not separate goals. They work together, strengthening and supporting one another as we follow Jesus in everyday life.
When worship is central, community becomes genuine.
When community is healthy, outreach becomes natural.
And when outreach is faithful, worship grows deeper.
This is the mission God has given us, grounded in His Word and lived out together.
Mission in Motion
Our ministries are one of the ways this mission takes shape in everyday life—from worship gatherings and small groups to serving our community and caring for one another. Each ministry exists to help us love God, love one another, and love the world. This is how we live life at Threshold Church.
